A growing number of crypto companies are entering the world of sport as sponsors of matches, events and competitions, but also as official partners of sports participants.
Among the many, we distinguish crypto-exchange names such as Binance, Crypto.com, FTX and Coinbase and more. In the list of crypto companies which dive into the world of sports there are also projects which are not of exchange and sports and that are not the most popular in the world.
Crypto.com, is one of the cryptocurrency companies that has invested the most in sports sponsorship. Crypto.com is the only crypto company to be a sponsor of the upcoming 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, besides being the only one to name the Lakers’ palasport, the iconic Los Angeles Arena, changing it to Crypto.com Arena in exchange for 700 million dollars.
Crypto.com will also be the official partner of the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix for the next nine years and the first global partner of the official UFC Fight Kit. Last but not least, it also purchased 30 seconds of ads for the 2022 Super Bowl, the world’s most viewed event.
