Interview with Gracy Chen of Bitget

Why did you decide to collaborate with Juventus? How is this partnership going?

The crypto world has witnessed growing popularity among investors, but the adoption of cryptocurrencies is still low. To boost adoption and invite a better understanding of crypto, we need to leverage partnerships with credible companies, Juventus is one of them.

The sports industry, no matter the football clubs or the famous football players, enjoys a large base of dedicated fans and followers, which would help crypto exchanges to build up a better brand image and gain massive awareness.

At the same time, cooperation between crypto exchanges and sports is a win-win situation. Crypto and blockchain is the big trend embraced by different industries. The use cases of new technology could help the sports players to increase engagement, such as NFT of athletes and special events.

It has been a nice and rewarding journey to partner with Juventus, which helped Bitget better engage in the sports space, and enabled the brand to gain considerable visibility thanks to its impressive reputation and vast popularity of Juventus.

Bitget just had a CSR activation with Juventus stars Moise Kean and Wojciech Szczesny during Juventus Summer Tour in Los Angeles (LA).

The football players participated in a charity-led basketball game and made shots to raise funds for DIY Girls, an LA-based non-profit organization with a mission to increase girls’ interest and success in technology and engineering through innovative educational experiences and mentor relationships. The popular footballers, together with some cryptocurrency traders, raised $9,000 from Bitget’s donation.
